- MEMBER RETENTION: ALL 2022 MEMBERS RENEWED THEIR MEMBERSHIP IN THE ASSOCIATION IN 2023. - CONTINUED SUCCESSFUL LOBBYING ON LEGISLATIVE ISSUES WHICH IMPACT THE RAILROAD INDUSTRY IN MISSISSIPPI. - PLANNED AND EXECUTED TWO EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETINGS AS WELL AS SEVERAL OTHER EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE CALLS. - PLANNED AND EXECUTED A LEGISLATIVE CONFERENCE FEATURING INDUSTRY BRIEFINGS, GRANT OPPORTUNITY TRAINING, AND A RECEPTION. IT ALSO INCLUDED MEETINGS WITH LEGISLATIVE LEADERS. - PLANNED AND EXECUTED INFORMATIONAL RAIL TOURS AT THE CN AND BNSF YARDS IN MEMPHIS. - REPRESENTED THE RAIL INDUSTRY IN MULTIPLE MEETINGS WITH THE MS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION. - SUCCESSFUL MANAGEMENT OF ASSOCIATION MEMBERSHIP DUES AND EXPENSES.
