NCRM ATTENDANCE NUMBERS ROSE FROM 115,212 AT THE HEIGHT OF THE PANDEMIC TO 227,343 BY THE END OF FISCAL YEAR 2022. RELIEF GRANTS RECEIVED DURING THE PANDEMIC, ALONG WITH CONTINUED SUPPORT FROM CORPORATE, FOUNDATION AND INDIVIDUAL DONORS THROUGHOUT FY22, HELPED TO SUSTAIN THE MUSEUM AND AS A RESULT, THE NCRM REMAINED FINANCIALLY STABLE THROUGHOUT THE FISCAL YEAR. THE MUSEUM WAS ALSO ABLE TO CONTINUE ITS PROGRAMMING VIRTUALLY THROUGHOUT MOST OF FY22, INCLUDING ITS TENTPOLE EVENTS: FREEDOM AWARD, KING DAY CELEBRATION, AND APRIL 4 COMMEMORATION (HYBRID EVENT). IN FEBRUARY 2022, THE NCRM LAUNCHED THE CORPORATE EQUITY CENTER. THE CORPORATE EQUITY CENTER'S SIGNATURE PROGRAM, THE C-SUITE INITIATIVE, COMBINES NCRM'S HISTORICAL EXPERTISE IN CIVIL RIGHTS AND DIVERSITY, EQUITY AND INCLUSION, WITH STRATEGIC AND CULTURALLY RELEVANT LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT TO ERADICATE RACISM IN CORPORATE AMERICA AND INCREASE THE REPRESENTATION OF BLACK EXECUTIVES IN C-SUITE AND SENIOR LEADERSHIP POSITIONS. LASTLY, THE NATIONAL CIVIL RIGHTS MUSEUM HAS ESTABLISHED A FUNDAMENTAL VISION THAT WILL GUIDE ITS WORK OVER THE NEXT FEW YEARS: TO BECOME A NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED CENTER OF EXCELLENCE FOR THOUGHT LEADERSHIP AND EQUITABLE SOLUTIONS TO ADDRESS TODAY'S CHALLENGES IN CIVIL AND HUMAN RIGHTS.
