WOMEN'S COMMITTEE PROGRAM:JACKSON COUNTY CONDUCTED 20 PROGRAMS TO EDUCATE AND PROMOTE AGRICULTURE WITHIN THE COMMUNITY. EVENTS INCLUDED BOOTHS AT COUNTY FAIRS AND FESTIVALS, FARM TOURS, LEGISLATIVE RECEPTIONS, FARM SAFETY SEMINARS FOR STUDENTS, PROVIDING AGRICULTURE MATERIALS AND LESSONS IN CLASSROOMS AND SPONSORING STUDENTS TO ATTEND CAMPS. ALSO THIS YEAR, THE COUNTY HOSTED FARMTASTIC FOR 3RD GRADE STUDENTS IN JACKSON COUNTY.


COMMODITY MEETINGS:JACKSON COUNTY FARM BUREAU ENCOURAGES VOLUNTEER MEMBERS TO ATTEND LEADERSHIP, COMMODITY, CONVENTIONS AND LEGISLATIVE CONFERENCES THAT HELP EDUCATE AND PROMOTE THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION. AT THESE MEETINGS VOLUNTEERS DISCUSS ISSUES THAT HAVE AN IMPACT ON THE AGRICULTURAL INDUSTRY.
