PUBLIC POLICY PROGRAMS: TO PROMOTE AND PROTECT THE AGRICULTURE INDUSTRY. LAUDERDALE COUNTY FARM BUREAU, THROUGH ITS STRUCTURE OF VOLUNTEER LEADERS, SUPPORTS PUBLIC POLICY EFFORTS AT THE LOCAL, STATE, AND NATIONAL LEVEL. THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH LEGISLATIVE AND REGULATORY MONITORING, COMMUNICATION WITH MEMBERS, AND PUBLIC AWARENESS PROGRAMS. VOLUNTEER MEMBERS PARTICIPATE IN YEARLY MEETINGS WITH THE STATE LEGISLATURE TO EDUCATE ELECTED OFFICIALS ABOUT AGRICULTURAL POLICY.


AGRICULTURE LEADERSHIP ACTIVITIES:LAUDERDALE COUNTY FARM BUREAU'S STRUCTURE OF ORGANIZATIONAL LEADERSHIP PROVIDES MANY OPPORTUNITIES FOR MEMBER LEADERS TO KEEP ABREAST OF ISSUES THAT AFFECT AGRICULTURE.
