COORDINATING GOVERNMENTAL AND PRIVATE SECTOR ACTIVITIES IN ATTRACTING BUSINESSES AND INDUSTRIES TO SEVIER COUNTY, TN. PROVIDING AID TO COMPANIES IN SELECTION OF SUITABLE SITES FOR THEIR FACILITIES.
ORGANIZE AND ADMINISTRATE THE SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY INTERNSHIP PROGRAM (SHIP) TO ASSIST HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS, COLLEGE STUDENTS AND RECENT GRADUATES OF BOTH, GAIN REAL LIFE WORK EXPERIENCE IN THE HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY.
THE ANNUAL SEVIER COUNTY JOB FAIR IS HELD TO HELP SEVIER COUNTY COMPANIES FIND AND HIRE QUALIFIED EMPLOYEES. THE EVENT ALSO FEATURES SOME SELF-HELP SEMINARS FOR JOB SEEKERS SUCH AS HOW TO DRESS FOR SUCCESS AND HOW TO IMPROVE THEIR RESUME.
