THE ST. PETERSBURG DOWNTOWN PARTNERSHIP'S MISSION IS TO BRING ABOUT QUALITY DEVELOPMENT AND BUSINESS GROWTH IN DOWNTOWN ST. PETERSBURG, FL. IT ACCOMPLISHES THIS MISSION BY A MULTITUDE OF VARIOUS FUNCTIONS. THE MAJOR FUNCTIONS OF THE PARTNERSHIP INCLUDES ASSISTING IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF USF ST. PETERSBURG, THE USF MARINE RESEARCH COMPLEX, THE CITY'S INNOVATION DISTRICT AND OTHER ECONOMIC DRIVERS. ANOTHER MAJOR FUNCTION IS THE MANAGEMENT AND OPERATION OF THE "LOOPER," A DOWNTOWN TROLLEY OPERATION.
