ANNUAL INSTITUTE: THIS HIGHLY REGARDED ANNUAL PROGRAM WAS OFFERED TO THE INDEPENDENT SCHOOL ADMISSION AND ENROLLMENT PROFESSION AT TWO DIFFERENT TIMES AND LOCATIONS DURING THIS ACADEMIC YEAR. EACH INSTITUTE OFFERED THREE-DAY'S OF PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS WITH OVER SIXTY SESSIONS AND WORKSHOPS TO MORE THAN SIX HUNDRED FIFTY COMBINED PARTICIPANTS. CONTENT COVERED TOPICS RANGING FROM OPERATIONAL PRACTICES IN ADMISSION AND ENROLLMENT TO FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE STRATEGIES, MARKETING, COMMUNICATION, DATA MANAGEMENT, AND LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT. PARTICIPANT COHORT GROUPS MET DAILY WITH THEIR COHORT LEADER TO SHARE PROVEN METHODOLOGIES, GUIDANCE, AND CAMARADERIE. BEYOND THE INSTITUTE, COHORT GROUPS HAD SCHEDULED VIRTUAL MEETINGS TO CONTINUE TO SUPPORT AND MENTOR THE PROGRAM PARTICIPANT THROUGHOUT THE SCHOOL YEAR.FINANCIAL AID SUMMIT: THIS PROGRAM IS ONE OF FOUR TOPIC-FOCUSED PROGRAMS IN THE SUMMIT PROGRAM CATEGORY. THIS ONE AND A HALF DAY ANNUAL IN-PERSON PROGRAM PROVIDED A FINANCIAL AID FOCUSED CURRICULUM TO THE MORE THAN ONE HUNDRED TWENTY-FIVE ADMISSION AND ENROLLMENT, FINANCIAL AID, AND BUSINESS OFFICER PARTICIPANTS. SESSIONS CONSISTED OF CASE STUDIES, DEEP DIVES, AND BEST PRACTICES RELATING TO THE FINANCIAL AID PROCESS AT INDEPENDENT SCHOOLS. BREAKOUT SESSIONS WITH INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS ALLOWED PARTICIPANTS TO RECEIVE ADDED TRAINING ON THE INDUSTRY'S LEADING FINANCIAL AID SOFTWARE TOOLS.NEW ONLINE COURSE: UNDERSTANDING DIVERSE LEARNING PROFILES: INTRODUCED MID-YEAR, THIS SIX MODULE COURSE GUIDES THE PARTICIPANT TO UNDERSTAND DIFFERENT TYPES OF LEARNING CHALLENGES, UNPACK MISPERCEPTIONS AND BIASES ABOUT LEARNING DISABILITIES, DECIPHER NEUROPSYCHOLOGICAL/PSYCHOEDUCATIONAL EVALUATIONS, ASK QUESTIONS TO GLEAN STUDENT LEARNING PROFILES, EMPLOY CLASSROOM STRATEGIES TO HELP ALL STUDENTS, AND DEMONSTRATE YOUR KNOWLEDGE THROUGH CASE STUDIES.
