HYDE LEADERSHIP CHARTER SCHOOL - BROOKLYN'S ("HLCS") MISSION IS TO DEVELOP THE DEEPER CHARACTER AND UNIQUE POTENTIAL OF EACH STUDENT. USING THE HYDE PROCESS FOR FAMILY-BASED CHARACTER EDUCATION, HLCS UNITES PARENTS, TEACHERS AND STUDENTS IN HELPING EACH STUDENT ACHIEVE HIS OR HER BEST ACADEMICALLY AND IN SPORTS, THE ARTS, AND THE COMMUNITY. RIGOROUS LEARNING ATTITUDES, LEADERSHIP SKILLS AND A SOCIAL CONSCIENCE LAY THE FOUNDATION FOR EACH STUDENT'S SUCCESS IN COLLEGE AND FULFILLMENT IN LIFE.

HYDE LEADERSHIP CHARTER SCHOOL-BROOKLYN BEGAN SERVING STUDENTS AND FAMILIES IN THE EAST NEW YORK COMMUNITY IN 2010. FOURTEEN (14) YEARS LATER, HYDE CONTINUES TO PROVIDE A HIGH-QUALITY EDUCATION WITH A FOCUS ON CHARACTER EDUCATION, ACADEMIC RIGOR AND FAMILY ENGAGEMENT. OUR PROGRAMS ARE DESIGNED TO DEVELOP WELL-ROUNDED STUDENTS EQUIPPED WITH THE SKILLS AND VALUES NECESSARY FOR SUCCESS IN THEIR PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL LIVES. HYDE'S COMMITTED TO DEVELOPING THE DEEPER CHARACTER AND UNIQUE POTENTIAL OF EVERY CHILD. HYDE'S PROGRAM OFFER SMALL GROUP INSTRUCTION OR INTERVENTIONS TO HELP STUDENTS WHO ARE STRUGGLING ACADEMICALLY. THIS PERSONALIZED APPROACH ALLOWS EDUCATORS TO CATER TO INDIVIDUAL STUDENTS' NEEDS MORE EFFECTIVELY.
