EDUCATE GIRLS PROMOTES AND PROTECTS THE RIGHT OF GIRLS TO A QUALITY EDUCATION, THROUGH SUPPORTING PARTNERS IN GEOGRAPHIES WHERE THE NEED IS GREATEST, TO MOBILIZE COMMUNITIES, ENROL GIRLS INTO SCHOOL AND IMPROVE LEARNING OUTCOMES. OUR VISION IS THAT EVERY GIRL IS IN SCHOOL, LEARNING AND COMPLETES 12 YEARS OF EDUCATION.

EDUCATE GIRLS MADE GRANTS TO NON-PROFIT PARTNERS IN INDIA TO SUPPORT PROGRAMS DELIVERED ACROSS MULTIPLE STATES INCLUDING RAJASTHAN, MADHYA PRADESH, UTTAR PRADESH, ODISHA, CHHATTISGARH, HARYANA, HIMANCHAL PRADESH AND WEST BENGAL. PROGRAMS SUPPORTED THE ENROLMENT OF VULNERABLE GIRLS FROM REMOTE VILLAGES INTO GOVERNMENT SCHOOLS FOR BOTH PRIMARY AND SECONDARY EDUCATION. THE FUNDS SUPPORTED PARTNERS TO IDENTIFY OUT-OF-SCHOOL GIRLS, ENROL THEM INTO SCHOOL, HELP THEM TO STAY IN SCHOOL AND IMPROVE THEIR LEARNING, INCREASING THEIR ACCESS TO BETTER CAREER OPPORTUNITIES AND LIFE CHANCES.
EDUCATE GIRLS SUPPORTED PARTNERS IN INDIA WITH TECHNICAL ADVICE AND STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT TO LAUNCH INNOVATIVE PROGRAMS AND DIGITAL TOOLS FOR IMPROVED PROGRAM DELIVERY. FUNDS WERE PROVIDED FOR STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT FOR PROGRAMS THAT REMOVE BARRIERS FOR GIRLS TO ACCESS GOVERNMENT SCHEMES AND FOR ADOLESCENT GIRLS TO ENROL IN THE GOVERNMENT OPEN SCHOOL SYSTEM AND SUCCESSFULLY PASS THEIR 10TH GRADE EXAMS. EDUCATE GIRLS SUPPORTED IMPROVED DATA COLLECTION AND ADVANCED ANALYTICS THROUGH MACHINE LEARNING AND THE GATHERING OF EVIDENCE TO ENSURE PROGRAMS ARE BETTER TARGETED TO REACH THE MOST VULNERABLE COMMUNITIES. IT ALSO DEVELOPED A STRATEGIC ENGAGEMENT PLAN TO ACCELERATE PARTNERS' ABILITY TO HAVE AN IMPACT BEYOND PROGRAM DELIVERY, INFLUENCING THE WIDER ECOSYSTEM IN PROMOTING THE IMPORTANCE OF GIRLS' EDUCATION.
EDUCATE GIRLS PROVIDED PROGRAM MANAGEMENT, PROGRAM DESIGN AND MONITORING SUPPORT TO PROGRAM PARTNERS IN INDIA IN ORDER TO ENSURE SUCCESSFUL DELIVERY OF GOALS TO ENROL 1.56 MILLION GIRLS INTO GOVERNMENT SCHOOLS AND IMPROVE LEARNING FOR 950,000 CHILDREN. IN THE CURRENT FINANCIAL YEAR OVER 200,000 GIRLS WERE SUCCESSFULLY ENROLLED INTO PRIMARY SCHOOLS, DESPITE THE PANDEMIC, 4,000 ADOLESCENT GIRLS WERE ENROLLED INTO OPEN SCHOOLS OR CAMPS AND 20,000 COMMUNITY VOLUNTEERS WERE TRAINED AND DEPLOYED.
