THE ORGANIZATION ACCOMPLISHED ITS MISSION BY HOSTING NETWORKING EVENTS SUCH AS BUSINESS AFTER HOURS, A GOLF TOURNAMENT, PROVIDING AVAILABLE INFORMATION TO THE PUBLIC REGARDING COVID LEGISLATIVE MATTERS, AND ASSISTING WITH A JOB FAIR; BY COORDINATING AND PROMOTING TOURISM EVENTS SUCH AS THE CHRISTMAS TOUR OF HOMES AND AGRICULTURE & ART TOUR; BY SUPPORTING THE YOUNG PROFESSIONALS GROUP AIMED AT 21-40 YEAR-OLDS WHO LIVE AND/OR WORK IN NEWBERRY COUNTY; AND BY ENGAGING IN ONGOING CONVERSATIONS WITH GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS, SCHOOL PERSONNEL, AND BUSINESSES SO THAT WE CAN BE KEPT ABREAST OF THE VARIOUS CLIMATES AND PROVIDE SUPPORT TO IDENTIFIED NEEDS. EVENTS WERE ADJUSTED DURING THE YEAR DUE TO COVID-19.
