THE NWTF IS DEDICATED TO THE CONSERVATION OF THE WILD TURKEY AND THE PRESERVATION OF OUR HUNTING HERITAGE. THE NWTF WORKS WITH GOVERNMENT AND AGENCY PARTNERS TO RESTORE WILD TURKEYS TO SUITABLE HABITAT AND MAINTAIN THAT HABITAT FOR FUTURE POPULATIONS OF UPLAND WILDLIFE.
THE ORGANIZATION HAS 247,216 MEMBERS WITH A PRESENCE IN 50 STATES, CANADA AND 11 OTHER COUNTRIES. MEMBERS CAN JOIN THROUGH A VARIETY OF MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES, INCLUDING A YOUTH MEMBERSHIP, REGULAR MEMBERSHIP AND SPONSOR MEMBERSHIP.
THROUGH A VARIETY OF OUTREACH PROGRAMS, THE ORGANZIATION ACTIVELY EDUCATES THE PUBLIC ON THE VALUE OF HUNTING AND THE IMPORTANCE OF WILDLIFE CONSERVATION.
