ONE HUNDRED MILES WORKS WITH CITIZENS AND ELECTED LEADERS TO ADVOCATE FOR THE PASSAGE AND ENFORCEMENT OF LAWS AND POLICIES THAT PROTECT COASTAL GEORGIA'S WILDLIFE, LANDSCAPES, AND COMMUNITIES. IN 2018, WE PRIORITIZED WORK ON COAL ASH AND OFFSHORE DRILLING AT THE STATE LEVEL. ON THE LOCAL LEVEL, WE ADVOCATED AGAINST THE CAMDEN COUNTY SPACEPORT, INAPPROPRIATE DEVELOPMENT OF CUMBERLAND ISLAND, RESPONSIBLE ZONING IN GLYNN COUNTY, AND CLIMATE CHANGE ADAPTATION STRATEGIES.
