GEORGIA ORGANICS INVESTS IN ORGANIC FARMERS AND COMMUNITY ALLIES IN GEORGIA TO CULTIVATE A RESILIENT LOCAL FOOD MOVEMENT. OUR VISION IS THAT ALL GEORGIA FARMERS NURTURE AND HEAL THE LAND, PEOPLE AND COMMUNITIES. TO ACHIEVE THIS, WE WORK TO INCREASE FARMER PROSPERITY AND RACIAL EQUITY, GROW A RESILIENT LOCAL FOOD MOVEMENT, AND PROVIDE IMPACT CAPITAL FOR INVESTMENT IN ORGANIC AND REGENERATIVE FARMS AND REGIONAL FOOD SYSTEMS. PROGRAMS INCLUDE DIRECT FARMER SERVICES WITH INITIATIVES LIKE THE ACCELERATOR PROGRAM AND ESTABLISHING PURCHASING AND PROCUREMENT BENCHMARKS AND ROAD-MAPS FOR LOCAL AND ORGANIC FOOD PROCUREMENT FOR COMMUNITIES, SCHOOLS, EARLY CARE CENTERS, AND RESTAURANTS TO BECOME FARMER CHAMPIONS.
