LUNA KIDS DANCE BRINGS ART EXPERIENCES TO MORE THAN 30,000 CHILDREN AND 400 ARTISTS TEACHERS AND SOCIAL SERVICE PROVIDERS EACH AND EVERY YEAR. OVER 31 YEARS LUNA HAS GROWN FROM A LOCAL DANCE STUDIO TO A NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED DANCE EDUCATION PROVIDING SERVICES TO CHILDREN AND THE ADULTS WHO IMPACT THEIR LIVES. IN 2022-23 LUNA CONTINUED OUR POST-COVID ADAPTATION WORK FUNDED BY THE WILLIAM & FLORA HEWLETT FOUNDATION TO STRENGTHEN OUR INFRASTRUCTURE AND EXPANDED THE FOLLOWING PROGRAM AREAS: 1 PROFESSIONAL LEARNING RETURNING OUR NATIONALLY-RECOGNIZED SUMMER INSTITUTE TO IN-PERSON PARTICIPATION EXPANDING OUR WORKSHOPS AND SEMINARS IN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION AND PROVIDING PRACTITIONER EXCHANGES CONSULTATION AND MENTORING TO OVER 400 ARTISTS AND TEACHERS. 2 BUILDING CULTURES OF DANCE IN PARTNERSHIP WITH OAKLAND UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT-ECE AND VAPA DEPARTMENTS BERKELEY UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT-ECE SAN FRANCISCO BALLET AND MARIN OFFICE OF EDUCATION-ECE.
