NC VOTERS FOR CLEAN ELECTIONS (THE ORGANIZATION) BROUGHT TOGETHER A COALITION WITH OTHER NON PROFITS TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC AND TO ENGAGE IN LOBBYING TO OPPOSE ATTEMPTS TO RESTRICT VOTING RIGHTS AND VOTER ACCESS, TO RESTRICT THE INFLUENCE OF MONEY IN THE POLITICAL PROCESS,SUPPORT JUDICIAL INDEPENDENCE EFFORTS , AND TO OPPOSE RESTRICTIONS ON THE RIGHT TO PROTEST. TOGETHER WITH OTHER NON PROFITS, THE ORGANIZATION DEVELOPED AND PUBLISHED A REPORT ENTITLED ,"BLUEPRINT FOR A STRONGER DEMOCRACY"WHICH OUTLINED PROPOSALS TO IMPROVE VOTING, ELECTIONS, AND JUDICIAL ETHICAL STANDARDS FOR NORTH CAROLINA.
