SENIOR SERVICES PROGRAM: HOMEMAKER PROGRAM, FAMILY ALZHEIMER'S IN-HOME RESPITE CARE, SENIOR NUTRITION PROGRAMS, LIGHTHOUSE PROGRAM, MEDICAID PERSONAL CARE PROGRAM AIMED AT SERVING SENIOR CITIZENS IN NICHOLAS COUNTY, WEST VIRGINIA.NICHOLAS COUNTY HEAD START: QUALITY PRE-K EXPERIENCES HAVE PROVEN TO REDUCE THE RATE OF CHILDREN BEING HELD BACK A GRADE, AND INCREASE THEIR CHANCES OF GRADUATING HIGH SCHOOL. NICHOLAS COMMUNITY ACTION'S SCHOOL READINESS PROGRAM PROVIDES COMPREHENSIVE LEARNING FOR NICHOLAS COUNTY CHILDREN 3 AND 4 YEARS OLD; YEARS CRITICAL TO COGNITIVE, SOCIAL, AND EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT.
