AN ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO SERVING SENIOR CITIZENS THROUGHOUT OUR AREA AND IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR OUR CLIENTS.

MEDICAID PROVIDES FUNDS TO ASSIST ELDERLY AND LOW INCOME CITIZENS TO REMAIN INDEPENDENT BY PROVIDING CUSTODIAL AND BASIC MEDICAL NEEDS TO THE PERSON IN THEIR HOME. PROVIDED 426,794 PERSONAL CARE UNITS, 460,402 HOMEMAKER UNITS, AND 25,445 TRAUMATIC BRAIN INJURY UNITS.
TITLE III PROGRAM PROVIDES SOCIAL SERVICES AND NUTRITIONAL SERVICES TO SENIOR CITIZENS FUNDS THROUGH A MIXTURE OF FEDERAL AND STATE GRANTS AS WELL AS PROGRAM INCOME. PROVIDED 1,108 CONGREGATE MEALS, 29,715 HOME DELIVERED MEALS, 8,204 COVID-GRAB AND GO MEALS, 1,250 UNITS OF IN-HOME RESPITE, 204 UNITS OF INFORMATION AND ASSISTANCE, 1,215 UNITS OF PERSONAL CARE AND 2,343 UNITS OF TRANSPORTATION.
THE LIGHTHOUSE PROGRAM PROVIDES IN-HOME ASSISTANCE FOR SENIORS WHO DO NOT QUALIFY FOR OTHER PROGRAMS. THE FAIR PROGRAM PROVIDES RELIEF TO CAREGIVERS WHO CARE FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH DEMENTIA AND ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE. PROVIDED 12,393 UNITS OF LIGHTHOUSE AND 3,638 UNITS OF FAIR.
LIFE PROGRAM WHICH SUBSIDIZES THE SENIOR CENTER AND ACTIVITIES (512 UNITS OF NUTRITION EDUCATION) 5310 GRANT USED FOR MEDICAL/SPECIAL TRANSPORT. BENEFIT COUNSELING/MIPPA/SMP WHICH HELPS OLDER INDIVIDUALS UNDERSTAND THEIR RIGHTS UNDER THE SOCIAL SECURITY ACT, MEDICAID, SUPPLEMENT SOCIAL SECURITY PROGRAMS AND GENERAL INSURANCE POLICIES. HHS STIMULUS GRANT TO ASSIST DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC.
