THE FOUR SIGNATURE EVENTS WERE THE FOLLOWING:CONGRESSIONAL COUNCIL RECEPTION - EACH YEAR, WIN CELEBRATES THE PRO-CHOICE, DEMOCRATIC WOMEN OF CONGRESS WITH THE CONGRESSIONAL COUNCIL RECEPTION ON THE HILL. THIS IS AN EXCLUSIVE EVENT FOR WIN MEMBERS AND PROVIDES A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY TO HEAR FROM THE WOMEN IN CONGRESS WHO EMBODY AND REPRESENT WIN'S VALUES AND MISSION. TWO CONGRESSWOMEN ARE GIVEN AWARDS. YOUNG WOMEN OF ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS - THE YOUNG WOMEN OF ACHIEVEMENT (YWA) AWARDS ARE THE WIN'S ANNUAL CELEBRATION OF HIGHLY TALENTED UP-AND-COMING YOUNG WOMEN LEADERS MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN OUR COMMUNITY. THIS EVENT WAS HELD TWICE DURING THE YEAR.WOMEN OPENING DOORS FOR WOMEN - RECEPTION AND DINNER EVENT COMMEMORATING ORGANIZATIONAL FOUNDING. WIN'S WOMEN OPENING DOORS FOR WOMEN (WODW) EVENT CELEBRATES THE FOUNDING OF THE ORGANIZATION OVER 25 YEARS AGO AROUND KAREN MULHAUSER'S DINING ROOM TABLE, WHEN WOMEN CAME TOGETHER TO HELP EACH OTHER ACHIEVE PROFESSIONAL SUCCESS.IN ADDITION TO THE SIGNATURE EVENTS, DURING THE YEAR, THE ORGANIZATION HOSTED 90 PROGRAMMING EVENTS WITH MORE THAN 1,516 ATTENDEES. ALL EVENTS FOCUSED ON EMPOWERING WOMEN AND PROVIDING THEM A FORUM FOR PROFESSIONAL ADVANCEMENT, MENTORING AND LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES.
