EDUCATION AND RESEARCH - CLI CONTINUES TO SERVE AS THE PRE-EMINENT NATIONAL ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO SCIENCE-BASED AND FACTUAL RESEARCH ON PRO-LIFE ISSUES SUCH AS THE HARM OF ABORTION DRUGS, FETAL DEVELOPMENT, STATE ABORTION REPORTING, MATERNAL MORTALITY, ABORTION AND MENTAL HEALTH AND PREGNANCY RESOURCE CENTERS. IN ADDITION, AN INTER-DISCIPLINARY TEAM OF STAFF AND ASSOCIATE SCHOLARS CONTINUE TO PUBLISH PEER-REVIEWED STUDIES AS WELL AS EDUCATE POLICYMAKERS AND THE PUBLIC THROUGH FEDERAL AND STATE TESTIMONY, AMICUS BRIEFS, PUBLISHED ARTICLES, PRESENTATIONS, AND WEB RESOURCES.
HER PLAN FACILITATES COLLABORATION BETWEEN ASSISTANCE PROVIDERS AND THEIR COMMUNITIES TO EMPOWER WOMEN AND FAMILIES THROUGH MEDICAL, SOCIAL, AND MATERIAL SUPPORT. HER PLAN WAS INITIALLY LAUNCHED WITH PILOT PROGRAMS IN GEORGIA AND NORTHERN VIRGINIA WITH THE PURPOSE OF DESIGNING AND POPULATING A DIRECTORY OF ASSISTANCE PROVIDERS SPANNING SEVEN CATEGORIES OF CARE, WHICH ADDRESS THE REASONS WOMEN CITE FOR TURNING TO ABORTION. IN 2023, THE PROGRAM OPERATED NATIONALLY AND IN 25 STATES, WITH STATE COORDINATORS IN 8 STATES, AND A CUSTOM FILTERABLE ONLINE PLATFORM TO HOST OUR DIRECTORY OF OVER 4000 LISTINGS OF PROVIDERS READY TO SERVE WOMEN AND FAMILIES. HER PLAN ALSO OFFERS A CURRICULUM CALLED "PATHWAYS" WHICH FACILITATES COLLABORATIONS BETWEEN CHURCHES AND ASSISTANCE PROVIDERS.
