THE ACP ILLINOIS CHAPTER SERVES MORE THAN 5,500 MEMBERS, INCLUDING PRACTICING PHYSICIANS, MEDICAL RESIDENTS, AND MEDICAL STUDENTS. THE CHAPTER PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES FOR QUALITY EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT. CLINICAL UPDATES, INFORMATIONAL UPDATES, AND IMPORTANT NEWS ARE SHARED VIA EMAIL BLASTS, SOCIAL MEDIA, AND ONLINE NEWSLETTERS. MORE THAN 300 MEDICAL RESIDENTS AND STUDENTS WERE PROVIDED THE OPPORTUNITY TO SHOWCASE THEIR MEDICAL RESEARCH AND CASE STUDIES VIA POSTER AND ORAL COMPETITIONS VIRTUALLY IN 2021-2022. THE CHAPTER PROVIDED VIRTUAL CME EDUCATION FOR MORE THAN 100 PRACTICING PHYSICIANS RELATED TO UPDATES IN INTERNAL MEDICINE. ADDITIONAL VIRTUAL SHORT PROGRAMS, SINGLE-SUBJECT EDUCATIONAL SESSIONS WERE PROVIDED.
