ANNUAL MEETINGS - PROVIDES CONTINUING DENTAL EDUCATION BY OFFERING SUPERIOR DENTAL OPPORTUNITIES, SUCH AS THE ANNUAL SCIENTIFIC SESSION, VIRTUAL DENTAL EDUCATION COURSES, CONTINUUMS, AND OTHER MEETINGS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.THIS YEAR THE FOCUS CONTINUES TO BE ON THE ACQUISITION AND RETENTION OF MEMBERS, WHILE CONTINUING TO PROVIDE VALUE FOR THE MEMBERSHIP DOLLAR. NEW PROGRAMS AND OFFERINGS WERE ADDED, INCLUDING THE DEVELOPMENT OF LEARNING PATHS WITHIN AACD CENTRAL WHICH IS THE NEW PLATFORM FOR CONTINUING EDUCATION.AACD PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION CONTINUES TO GROW UNDER THE FOCUS OF ADULT LEARNING THEORY. THE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM, AACD UNPLUGGED, IN-HOUSE EDUCATION, IS MEANT TO PROVIDE INTIMATE, HANDS-ON, INTERACTIVE AACD BRANDED EDUCATION. FROM THE EXPANDED RELATIONSHIP WITH E-LEARNING PROVIDERS WITH OUR ONLINE LEARNING PROGRAMS THAT FOCUS NOT ONLY ON QUALITY COSMETIC DENTISTRY, BUT SOON THE ACCREDITATION PROGRAM AS WELL TO OUR ANNUAL SCIENTIFIC SESSION, WHERE WE BRING DENTAL PROFESSIONALS TOGETHER TO LEARN DURING, BEFORE AND AFTER THE FACE-TO-FACE EXPERIENCE.
PUBLICATIONS - PROVIDES EDUCATION TO AACD MEMBERS AND OTHER DENTAL PROFESSIONALS ON THE ART AND SCIENCE OF COSMETIC DENTISTRY AS WELL AS ENHANCING READERS KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS IN THE LATEST COSMETIC TECHNIQUES AND PROCEDURES.
CREDENTIALS - PROVIDES ACCREDITATION SERVICES AS WELL AS ENCOURAGES FURTHER EDUCATION, INTERACTION WITH LIKE-MINDED COLLEAGUES, AND THE OPPORTUNITY FOR PROFESSIONAL GROWTH FOR DENTAL PROFESSIONALS.THE ACCREDITATION PROCESS BENEFITS DENTAL PROFESSIONALS AND THEIR PATIENTS AND IS HIGHLY ACCLAIMED WITHIN THE INDUSTRY. CLINICAL CASE EXAMINATIONS WERE GIVEN TWO TIMES THIS YEAR FOR EVALUATION OF CASES IN THE YEAR IT WAS SUBMITTED. ORAL EXAMINATIONS ARE GIVEN ONCE A YEAR TO THOSE INDIVIDUALS THAT HAVE PASSED ALL THEIR CLINICAL CASES AND IT IS THE FINAL PHASE OF THE ACCREDITATION PROCESS.
