Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
Part 3 - Line 4a
COMMUNITY BUILDING: FREE THE PEOPLE HAS ONE CORE PROGRAM, VIDEO STORYTELLING. WE WANT TO MAKE THE COMMUNITY FOR LIBERTY A COOL THING. USING CUTTING-EDGE TECHNOLOGY AND STORYTELLING, WE'RE BUILDING A GRASSROOTS CONSTITUENCY THAT CAN TRANSLATE GOOD IDEAS INTO EDUCATION, CONVERSATION, AND SOCIAL ACTIVISM. THIS COMMUNITY INFLUENCES CULTURE AND PUBLIC OPINION, AND DRIVES BOOTS-ON-THE-GROUND SOCIAL CHANGE FROM THE BOTTOM UP. AS PART OF THIS CORE PROGRAM WE PRODUCE VIDEOS INCLUDING KIBBE ON LIBERTY, A WEEKLY PODCAST; FREEDOM OVER FEAR VIDEO SERIES; HOW TO LOVE ENEMY, A RESTORATIVE JUSTICE STORY - A SHORT DOCUMENTARY WHICH TELLS THE STORY OF A SUCCESSFUL RESTORATIVE JUSTICE PROGRAM IN LONGMONT COLORADO; AND THE CONSTITUTION LINE BY LINE WITH SENATOR MIKE LEE, - - A SERIES WHICH EDUCATES ON ARTICLE 1 OF THE CONSTITUTION.
FREEDOM OVER FEAR: IN RESPONSE TO THE PANDEMIC, THE FREEDOM OVER FEAR PROGRAM EXAMINED THE HISTORY OF AMERICA'S RESPONSE TO NATIONAL EMERGENCIES. IN A SERIES OF EDUCATIONAL VIDEOS, WE GATHERED HISTORICAL EXAMPLES OF HOW WE LOSE OUR CIVIL LIBERTIES, OUR PROPERTY RIGHTS, AND OUR ECONOMIC FREEDOMS WHEN WE ALLOW FEAR TO TRUMP COMMONSENSE AND RATIONAL DISCOURSE. THROUGH THIS SERIES OF VIDEOS, WE REACHED AND EDUCATED MILLIONS OF AMERICANS LOOKING FOR DIFFERENT ANSWERS, A COUNTER-NARRATIVE THAT EXAMINED THE ECONOMIC AND POLITICAL CONSEQUENCES OF THE COVID-19 RESPONSE.
