COALITION FOR COLLEGE MAINTAINS A NETWORK OF MORE THAN 170 COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES ACROSS THE U.S. THAT SHARE A TRACK RECORD FOR GRADUATING STUDENTS ON TIME AND WITH NO OR LOW DEBT. TOGETHER, THESE ORGANIZATIONS CONNECT STUDENTS WITH INFORMATION, TOOLS, AND OTHER RESOURCES THAT ENABLE THEM TO ATTEND A COLLEGE THAT MATCHES THEIR ACADEMIC, FINANCIAL, AND SOCIAL NEEDS; DELIVER STUDENT-CENTERED TECHNOLOGIES THAT MAKE THE COLLEGE SEARCH, APPLICATION AND ENROLLMENT PROCESS MORE EFFECTIVE AND LESS STRESSFUL; STRENGTHEN COLLABORATION BETWEEN STUDENTS, COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES, SCHOOL COUNSELORS, AND OTHER STUDENT SUPPORTERS; AND DISMANTLE BARRIERS TO APPLYING AND ENROLLING IN COLLEGE.

THE COALITION CONTINUED ITS WORK AROUND THE THEMES OF COLLEGE ACCESS, AFFORDABILITY AND STUDENT SUCCESS IN A NUMBER OF WAYS. THROUGH CONTINUED PARTNERSHIP WITH SCOIR, THE COALITION PROVIDED A STREAMLINED WAY FOR STUDENTS TO APPLY TO MEMBER COLLEGES, AND EXPANDED THE APPLICATION FEE WAIVERS THAT MEMBER SCHOOLS CAN EXTEND TO STUDENTS THROUGH THE PLATFORM. IN THE 2ND YEAR AFTER THE LAUNCH OF THIS NEW APPLICATION EXPERIENCE, 47% OF APPLICANTS RECEIVED A FEE WAIVER, AND 37% WERE THE FIRST IN THEIR FAMILIES TO GO TO COLLEGE. THE COALITION HOSTED REGULAR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SESSIONS FOR ITS MEMBER COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES ON BEST PRACTICES IN COLLEGE ACCESS, AND CONTINUED ITS NATIONAL OUTREACH EFFORTS THROUGH VIRTUAL AND IN-PERSON EVENTS DESIGNED TO EDUCATE STUDENTS (CONTINUES IN SCHEDULE O) (CONTINUED) AND THEIR SUPPORTERS ABOUT COLLEGE SEARCH AND THE APPLICATION AND FINANCIAL AID PROCESS. THE COALITION ALSO CONTINUED TO BUILD ITS REGISTRY OF COMMUNITY-BASED ORGANIZATIONS (CBOS) THAT PROVIDE FREE COLLEGE ADVISING AND PROVIDED CBOS WITH ACCESS TO THE NEW APPLICATION PLATFORM.
