OLDER AMERICANS ACT FUNDING: THIS FUNDING ALLOWED MIDLAND AREA AGENCY ON AGING TO PROVIDE SERVICES INCLUDING INFORMATION AND ASSISTANCE, IN HOME SERVICES, CAREGIVER AND RESPITE SERVICES, CONGREGATE MEALS AND HOME DELIVERED MEALS.
CARE ADVOCACY SERVICES INCLUDE LEVEL OF CARE (FORMERLY SENIOR CARE OPTIONS) AND TARGETED CASE MANAGEMENT (FORMERLY MEDICAID WAIVER). SERVICES INCLUDE TRANSITIONING FROM THE HOSPITAL/NURSING FACILITY BACK TO THE CLIENT'S HOME AND COORDINATING SERVICES FOR THE CLIENT.
TRANSPORTATION PROGRAMS ASSIST CLIENTS WITH RIDES TO THE GROCERY STORE, PHYSICIAN, AND OTHER APPOINTMENTS.
ALL OTHER PROGRAMS ARE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE ELDERLY BY PROVIDING PROGRAMS SUCH AS SENIOR MEDICARE PATROL AND CARE MANAGMENT.
