EDUCATION BURMA THAILAND MYANMAR (EBTM) WAS FORMED ON 7/22/2014 WITH THE MISSION OF:A) FUNDING MYANMAR MIGRANT EDUCATION PROGRAMS IN THAILAND.B) FACILITATING AND FUNDING PROGRAMS FOR THE MIGRANT STUDENTS' RETURN TO MYANMAR.C) CREATING AND FUNDING PROGRAMS IN MYANMAR FOR MIGRANT AND OTHER NEEDY STUDENTS.D) IN 2016, EBTM ADDED AGRICULTURAL, EDUCATIONAL AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS IN MYANMAR.E) IN 2020, EBTM ADDED COVID-19 EMERGENCY PRODUCT MANUFACTURE AND DISTRIBUTION IN THAILAND AND MYANMAR.F) IN 2021, REACTING TO THE FEBRUARY 2021 ILLEGAL MILITARY COUP IN BURMA, EBTM PROVIDED EMERGENCY FOOD AND MEDICAL RELIEF FOR BURMESE PROTESTORS AND STRIKERS. EBTM/BEAM MYANMAR/THAILAND PROJECT:BEAM MYANMARCOVID RESPONSE PROGRAMS EARLY IN 2021 AND THEN THE REACTION TO THE FEBRUARY 2021 MILITARY COUP DOMINATED BEAM/MYANMAR 2021 ACTIVITIES. IN ADDITION TO EMERGENCY FOOD AND MEDICAL SUPPLIES, PARTICULARLY IN THE JUNGLE AREAS ALONG THE THAI /BURMA BORDER, WE INITIATED AN EDUCATION REVOLUTION PROJECT TO MODERNIZE THE FAILED BURMESE NATIONAL EDUCATION SYSTEM. THE EDUCATION PROGRAM FOCUSED ON EQUAL RIGHTS FOR ALL, RESPECT FOR THE DIFFERENT ETHNIC AND RELIGIOUS GROUPS, AND PROMOTION OF DEMOCRATIC VALUES.
EBTM - BAGAN CLINIC MYANMAR WE CONTINUE TO SUPPORT DR HLA TUN WHOSE CLINIC HELPS NEEDY BURMESE PATIENS WITH COVID AND GENERAL MEDICAL NEEDS. THIS YEAR HE IS ALSO HELPING DOCUTORES IN REMORE AREAS WHO ARE IN HIDING, WORKING WITHOUT GOVERMENT SUPPORT AND CONSTANTLY THREATENED BY THE MILITARY.
