UPCOUNTY COMMUNITY RESOURCES, INC. IS A PRIVATE, NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION OFFERING INNOVATIVE PROGRAMS, INDEPENDENT LIVING SKILLS, AND SOCIAL OPPORTUNITIES PRIMARILY TO COMMUNITY MEMBERS WITH INTELLECTUAL AND DEVELOPMENTAL DIFFERENCES, BUT OPEN TO ALL.

UPCOUNTY COMMUNITY RESOURCES, INC (UCR) PROVIDES A SUPPORTIVE AND ENGAGING ENVIRONMENT TO COMMUNITY MEMBERS WHERE THEY CAN LEARN AND GROW TOGETHER WHILE PARTICIPATING IN THERAPEUTIC PROGRAMS, COMMUNITY INCLUSION ACTIVITIES AND SOCIAL ACTIVITIES. UCR BEGAN PROVIDING VIRTUAL PROGRAMS (DUE TO COVID) IN ADDITION TO 1:1 IN-PERSON PROGRAMMING IN 2020 AND CONTINUED TO DO SO THROUGH THE FISCAL YEAR BEING REPORTED. WE WORK CLOSELY WITH COMMUNITY PARTNERS AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT TO MEET THE NEEDS OF UPPER MONTGOMERY COUNTY RESIDENTS WITH DISABILITIES. WE ARE STRONG ADVOCATES AT THE LOCAL, STATE, AND NATIONAL LEVEL.
