THE PDS FOUNDATION MOBILE DENTAL CLINIC SERVES CHALLENGED URBAN AREAS AND RURAL COMMUNITIES IN NEED. THE MOBILE DENTAL CLINIC ALSO PARTICIPATES IN MAJOR COMMUNITY HEALTHCARE EVENTS WITH PARTNERS TO PROVIDE FREE DENTAL CARE AND SPREAD ORAL HEALTH AWARENESS.
PACIFIC DENTAL SERVICES, LLC (PDS)-SUPPORTED DOCTORS AND TEAM MEMBERS SPEND A WEEK PROVIDING FREE DENTISTRY TO PEOPLE IN VILLAGES, CHURCHES, ORPHANAGES, AND HEALTH CLINICS. TO HELP ENACT LASTING CHANGE, THE FOUNDATION WORKS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH LOCAL MEDICAL COLLEGES TO PROVIDE CLINICAL TRAINING AND CRITICAL SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT TO LOCAL DENTAL PROFESSIONALS.
REALIZING THE IMPORTANCE OF CAREER DEVELOPMENT AND FINANCIAL STABILITY FOR DISADVANTAGED WOMEN, THE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM WILL PROVIDE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO WOMEN SEEKING ECONOMIC INDEPENDENCE THROUGH EDUCATION, MENTORSHIP AND ON-THE-JOB TRAINING. AWARDS WILL BE GIVEN BASED ON APPLICATION EXCELLENCE, WRITTEN ESSAY, FORMAL INTERVIEW AND FINANCIAL NEED.
