RADIUS INTERNATIONAL IS A TRAINING CENTER FOR THE PURPOSE OF CROSS-CULTURAL CHURCH-PLANTING AMONG UNREACHED LANGUAGE GROUPS, AND TO EDUCATE AND IMPACT THE EVANGELICAL COMMUNITY REGARDING MISSIONS IN GENERAL, AS WELL AS FOR LAWFUL ACTIVITIES PERMITTED BY A NON-PROFIT RELIGIOUS ORGANIZATION, PURSUANT TO THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF ARIZONA.

THE ORGANIZATION OPERATES A CROSS-CULTURAL CHURCH PLANTING TRAINING CENTER LOCATED IN TIJUANA, MEXICO. THE CORE OF THE TEACHING AT THIS FACILITY IS CULTURE AND LANGUAGE ACQUISITION (CLA), TO TEACH ADAPTATION TO AND FACILITATE CLEAR COMMUNICATION WITH NEW CULTURES. THE INSTRUCTORS COME FROM A CROSS-CULTURAL, CHURCH-PLANTING BACKGROUND. THIS INSTRUCTION IS AUGMENTED BY OUTSIDE FACILITATORS WHO PERIODICALLY TEACH OTHER AREAS. THE STUDENTS HAVE TIME EACH DAY TO SPEND IN THE TIJUANA COMMUNITY TO OBSERVE FIRST-HAND AND TO PRACTICE WHAT THEY ARE LEARNING IN THE CLASSES. 64 STUDENTS GRADUATED IN JUNE 2022, AND A NEW CLASS OF 60 STUDENTS BEGAN IN AUGUST 2022.
THE ORGANIZATION HAS A CAMPUS IN TAIWAN. TWO OF ITS US EMPLOYEES WORK THERE. THE EXPENSES ABOVE INCLUDE THEIR SALARIES AS WELL AS $621 THAT WAS GIVEN AS A GRANT TO THE TAIWANESE ORGANIZATION TO HELP COVER EXPENSES THERE. IN JUNE 2022 THEY GRADUATED 11 STUDENTS.
THE ORGANIZATION HAS STARTED EDUCATION TRAINING FOR CHURCHES ON BROAD LEVELS OF MISSIONS. THE GOAL IS TO HELP CHURCHES AND INDIVIDUALS TO BETTER UNDERSTAND WHAT MISSIONS IS. MOST OF THIS IS DONE THROUGH OUR CONFERENCE WE HOST EACH SUMMER. THE ORGANIZATION HAS ALSO PARTNERED WITH ANOTHER RELATED ORG TO PROVIDE THEOLOGICAL TRAINING TO MISSIONARY CANDIDATES THAT LACK TRAINING IN THEOLOGY. THE EXPENSES ABOVE INCLUDE A GRANT OF $96,650 TO THIS RELATED ORG TO ASSIST WITH TRAINING.
