MISSIONS: WE HAVE FOUND THAT AN EFFECTIVE WAY TO ACCOMPLISH OUR GOAL IS TO PAIR SHARING THE WORD WITH PROGRAMS THAT MEET THE PHYSICAL NEEDS OF UNDERSERVED AND IMPOVERISHED COMMUNITIES. WE SUPPORT MEDIA AND ARTS PROGRAMS COMMUNICATING THE GOSPEL. WE SUPPORT OUTREACH PROGRAMS TO HOSPITALS, PRISONS, AND VILLAGES, BIBLE DISTRIBUTION, AND ALSO PLANTING AND OPERATING CHURCHES. OUR GRANTS PROVIDE FOR THE EQUIPPING OF PASTORS TO LEAD AND HOLISTICALLY SERVE THEIR COMMUNITIES. OTHER SUPPORTED PROGRAMS INCLUDE FAITH-BASED CARE FOR AT-RISK CHILDREN, DISCIPLESHIP AND MEAL PROGRAMS, "MERCY MINISTRIES" THAT PROVIDE FOR PEOPLE'S BASIC NEEDS, AND DISASTER RELIEF ASSISTANCE PRIMARILY IN THE FORM OF FOOD AID IN TIMES OF CRISIS.
CRISIS RESPONSE: IRIS GLOBAL SUPPORTS SHORT-TERM PROJECTS IN RESPONSE TO NATURAL AND MAN-MADE CRISES, WHEREIN WE PROVIDE FOR FOOD, SHELTER, CLOTHING, AND OTHER CRITICAL SUPPLIES. THROUGH THESE GRANTS WE ARE ABLE TO RESTORE HOPE AND SHOW THE HEALING POWER OF GOD'S LOVE IN ACTION IN THE MIDST OF HARDSHIP.
CHILDREN'S SERVICES: OUR FOCUS IS ON BREAKING THE CYCLE OF POVERTY, DISEASE, AND HUNGER BY PROVIDING LOVING HOMES AND FAITH-BASED CARE TO CHILDREN. OUR GRANTS SUPPORT PROGRAMS THAT RESCUE AND FULFILL THE VITAL NEEDS OF ABANDONED AND AT-RISK CHILDREN BY PROVIDING HOMES, EDUCATION, FOOD, CLOTHING, MEDICAL CARE, LOVE, AND FUN TO OVER 10,000 CHILDREN EACH DAY. OUR ULTIMATE GOAL IS TO PROVIDE FOR AND EMPOWER LOCAL FAMILIES AND ADULTS TO RAISE CHILDREN IN A FOREVER HOME.
EDUCATION: OUR FUNDING PROVIDES FOR GREATLY SUBSIDIZED AND FREE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS FOR UNDERPRIVILEGED STUDENTS INCLUDING EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION, PRIMARY, SECONDARY, LITERACY AND ENGLISH PROFICIENCY, VOCATIONAL TRAINING AND UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIPS. WE ALSO GRANT FUNDS TO TRAIN NATIONAL LOCAL LEADERS IN BIBLE SCHOOLS AND FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT AND OPERATION OF IRIS UNIVERSITY IN PEMBA, MOZAMBIQUE. IN ADDITION TO SERVICING UNDERPRIVILEGED AND UNDERSERVED POPULATIONS WITH EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS, WE SUPPORT MISSIONS TRAINING SCHOOLS FOR INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE CALLED TO HOLISTIC MISSIONS WORK.
