LIFTING HANDS INTERNATIONAL IS A GRASSROOTS HUMANITARIAN NONPROFIT MOVEMENT DEDICATED TO PROVIDING CLEAR AND MEANINGFUL WAYS FOR YOU, YOUR FAMILY AND YOUR COMMUNITY TO HELP REFUGEES, BOTH AT HOME AND ABROAD.

UTAH PROGRAM: AS PART OF OUR RESETTLEMENT SERVICES, WE SET UP 362 APARTMENTS FOR REFUGEES. SENT 18 CONTAINERS OF INTERNATIONAL AID AND 7 SHIPMENTS OF AID TO ORGANIZATIONS SHELTERING MIGRANTS IN TEXAS, ARIZONA, AND CALIFORNIA.


REFUGEE CENTER IN GREECE: $428,754.49 INCLUDING $108,281.99 IN GRANTSMAINTAIN THE DAY-TO-DAY ACTIVITIES OF CENTER IN GREECE WHICH INCLUDES A LIBRARY, EDUCATION FACILITIES, CHILDREN'S CENTER, AND A FEMALE FOCUSED SPACE.GOAT PROJECT: $375,111.57 INCLUDING $328,113 IN GRANTSDISTRIBUTED MILK GOATS TO SYRIAN REFUGEE FAMILIES IN JORDAN.GAZA: $126,003.28 INCLUDING $111,500 IN GRANTSSOURCE FOOD, WATER AND HYGIENE ITEMS TO MEET BASIC NEEDS INSIDE GAZA AND SOUTHERIN ISRAEL. PROVIDE TRAUMA THERAPY TO AID WORKERS AND FIRST RESPONDERS.ADVOCACY, EDUCATION, & RESEARCH: $85,164LHI REPRESENTATIVES ATTENDED AND SPOKE AT CONFERENCES AROUND THE WORLD RAISING AWARENESS REGARDING THE PLIGHT OF REFUGEES AND HOW TO HELP. WE ALSO INITIATED RESEARCH PROJECTS TO GATHER DATA FOR BOTH OPERATIONAL AND PUBLIC EDUCATION PURPOSES.TURKEY RESPONSE: $77,085.71 INCLUDING $56,050 IN GRANTSPROVIDE 6 MONTHS OF PSYCHOLOGICAL FIRST AID AND MOBILE MEDICAL CARE IN TURKEY TO HELP THOSE IMPACTED BY THE FEBRUARY 2023 EARTHQUAKES.


UKRAINE RESPONSE: DELIVERED 1,057 TONS OF AID IN THE FORM OF FOOD, FIRST AID SUPPLIES, STOVES, AND WINTER CLOTHING AND BLANKETS TO 80 FRONTLINE COMMUNITIES SEVERLY IMPACTED BY RUSSIA'S INVASION. THIS PROGRAM INVOLVES WORKING WITH UKRAINIAN BASED ORGANIZATIONS.


FISCAL SPONSORSHIPS: PROVIDED BOOKKEEPING, FISCAL STEWARDSHIP, AND STRATEGIC PLANNING ASSISTANCE FOR SEVERAL FISCALLY-SPONSORED ORGANIZATIONS THAT ARE HELPING REFUGEES BUT NOT YET REGISTERED TO FUNCTION ON THEIR OWN AS INDEPENDENT NONPROFIT CORPORATIONS.
