OUR MISSION IS TO FOSTER CREATIVITY AND SELF-CONFIDENCE IN CHILDREN AND TEENS THROUGH ARTS AND CULTURE PROGRAMS.

PROGRAMMING CURRENTLY INCLUDES ART AND CULTURE CLASSES SUCH AS DRAWING PAINTING THEATER DANCE PREVIOUS CLASSES INCLUDE BALLET FOLKLORICO HAWAIIAN AND INDIAN MUSIC INCLUDING DRUMS SINGING VIOLIN AND PIANO SUMMER OUTDOOR PROGRAMS. THIS FOSTERS PRIDE IN CULTURAL DIVERSITY AND THE PRESENTATIONS AT COMMUNITY FESTIVALS BENEFIT THE BROADER COMMUNITY BY SHARING DIVERSE CULTURES AND ARTS OF A MORE INCLUSIVE SNOHOMISH COUNTY. PROGRAMS ARE DELIVERED IN DIFFERENT LANGUAGES MANY IN SPANISH AND AMPLIFY THE ETHNIC CULTURE AND TRADITIONS WITHIN THE COMMUNITY WHICH BRIDGES ACCESS TO OPPORTUNITIES TO LEARN AND GROW. ALL PROGRAMS ARE FACILITATED BY AN INCLUSIVITY THAT CULTIVATES COMMUNITY AMONG A DIVERSITY OF INDIVIDUALS WHO IDENTIFY WITH OR EXPERIENCE REALITIES OF MARGINALIZATION AS BIPOC IMMIGRANT REFUGEE LGBTQIA+ AND OR PERSONS LIVING WITH DISABILITIES. IN 2023 MPFA SERVED 1,013 CHILDREN AND YOUTH FROM AGES 3 THROUGH YOUNG ADULT OF WHICH 902 IMPROVED SELF-EFFICACY 750 IMPROVED SCHOOL GRADES AND MORE THAN 500 IMPROVED SCHOOL ATTENDANCE AND TOOK MORE CHALLENGING COURSES.
