DOE/LIHEAP/WEATHERIZATION - THIS PROGRAM PROVIDES WEATHERIZATION OF LOW-INCOME HOMES TO SAVE HEATING AND COOLING COSTS AND CONSERVE ENERGY USAGE. 72 HOMES RECEIVED WEATHERIZATION TO REDUCE HEAT/AIR CONDITIONING COSTS AND SAVE ENERGY. ENERGY SHARE HELPED 270 HOUSEHOLDS WITH THEIR ELECTRICAL SERVICE. LIHEAP FURNANCE - PROGRAM HELPED 226 HOMES WITH FURNANCE REPLACEMENTS AND REPAIRS AND AIR CONDITIONING.
CSBG - THIS PROGRAM PROVIDES CLIENT BUDGET COUNSELING ON SELF RELIANCE AND HELP TO ACHIEVE THAT GOAL THROUGH RENTS, SECURITY DEPOSITS, AND BASIC NEEDS. THE PROGRAM ALSO SUPPORTS FOOD PANTRIES THAT CURRENTLY SERVE OVER 3,500 LOCAL FAMILIES. CSBG CARES - FUNDING ALSO PROVIDED AN ADDITIONAL $150,485 USED PREDOMINANTLY FOR RENTS AND SECURITY DEPOSITS.
SSVF - IS A VERTERANS PROGRAM THAT HELPS TO FIND SAFE AFFORDABLE HOUSING FOR HOMELESS VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES.
NDHFA-HELPING HAND PROGRAM - ASSISTED WITH 5 INDIVIDUALS' HOMES TO HELP WITH ROOFS, SKIRTING, AND HEATING REPAIRS. REP PAYEE - 53 CLIENTS RECEIVED MONEY MANAGEMENT SERVICES THROUGH OUR REPRESENTATIVE PAYEE PROGRAM. A TOTAL OF 3,267 VOLUNTEER HOURS WERE LOGGED HELPING DISTRIBUTE FOOD AND CARRY OUT THE PROGRAMS. HOLIDAY FOOD PROGRAMS PROVIDED 30 FOOD BASKETS FOR THANKSGIVING AND 30 FOR CHRISTMAS TO LOCAL FAMILIES, 20 BACKPACKS FOR SCHOOL KIDS WERE DONATED AND DISTRIBUTED, 15 BEDS FOR CHILDREN WERE DONATED AND DISTRIBUTED TO THOSE IN NEED, AND 429 INDIVIDUALS WERE PROVIDED WITH GIFTS FOR THE HOLIDAYS THROUGH DONATED CASH AND ITEMS. 2 INDIVIDUALS RECEIVED PRESCRIPTION MEDICATION AND DIABETES SUPPLIES AND DENTAL.
