HEAD START ALSO SEEKS TO ASSIST PARENTS AND FAMILIES IN IMPROVING THEIR PARENTING SKILLS, BEING SELF-SUFFICIENT, AND BETTERING THE CONDITIONS IN WHICH THEY LIVE, LEARN AND WORK. 287 CONSTITUENTS SERVED.


ENERGY ASSISTANCE AND WEATHERIZATION PROGRAM IS FOR LOW INCOME FAMILIES TO HELP PAY HOME HEATING BILLS AND PROVIDE INCOME QUALIFIED PEOPLE WITH FREE HOME ENERGY AUDITS, INSULATION, AND HEATING SYSTEM EVALUATION AND REPAIR AS A COST-EFFECTIVE WAY OF REDUCING THEIR ENERGY BILLS. 1,268 HOUSEHOLDS SERVED.


LIVE WELL AT HOME PROGRAM IS TO PROVIDE LABOR AND MATERIALS FOR ELIGIBLE HOUSEHOLDS TO MAINTAIN THEIR INDEPENDENCE, PREVENT ACCIDENTS AND REMAIN AT HOME. 12 HOUSEHOLDS SERVED.
