THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION IS TO PRESERVE, MAINTAIN, AND CREATE AIRSTRIPS FOR RECREATIONAL ACCESS.

Part 3 - Line 4a

THE RAF TEAMED UP WITH VOLUNTEERS TO COORDINATE EFFORTS TO INCREASE THE AMENITIES AND DRAW OF RYAN FIELD FOR RECREATIONAL AVIATORS IN PHASE II OF THEIR LONG TERM PROJECT. ADDITIONAL AMENITIES WERE RETROFITTED IN THE 30' X 40' BARN THROUGH VOLUNTEER AND RAF SUPPORT.


THE RAF SUPPORTED SEVERAL NATIONAL AIR STRIPS INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO MARCY FIELD, RED PINE, BARROWS AIRSTRIP, AND LAS TRANCAS TO HELP IMPROVE AND MAINTAIN THESE AIR STRIPS FOR RECREATIONAL AVIATORS ACROSS THE NATION. THIS ONGOING DEVLEOPMENT, MAINTENANCE AND IMPROVMENT IS A PRIMARY GOAL OF RAF.


THE RAF DIRECTLY SUPPORTED THE ERECTION OF A PAVILION AT THE TRIGGER GAP AIRSTRIP WITH A GOAL OF DRAWING MORE AVIATORS TO THE AREA. IN ADDITION TO THE PAVILION, TOILET FACILITIES, PICNIC TABLES, AND FIRE RINGS WERE ADDED TO THE AREA.


OTHER ACCOMPLISHMENTS FELL UNDER THE UMBRELLA OF THE PROMOTION AND BETTERMENT OF RECREATIONAL AIRSTRIPS.
