THE FOUNDATION PROVIDES FUNDING FOR COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECTS AND EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES TO PROTECT THE HEALTH, SAFETY AND FINANCIAL WELL- BEING OF IOWA FAMILIES, AND TO ENHANCE PUBLIC UNDERSTANDING AND APPRECIATION OF THE CIVIL JUSTICE SYSTEM.
THE SAFE CYCLING PROJECT (IN COLLABORATION WITH THE IOWA BICYCLE COALITION) WAS LAUNCHED IN 2010, WITH THE INTENTION OF OUTFITTING CHILDREN WITH BICYCLE HELMETS TO HELP PREVENT OR REDUCE INJURIES AND SAVE LIVES.
THE BYARD BRALEY SCHOLARSHIP FUND PROVIDES EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE TO INJURED WORKERS, OR FAMILY MEMBERS OF THE INJURED WORKERS, WHO HAVE BEEN SET BACK BY A WORKPLACE INJURY AND ARE IN PURSUIT OF FURTHER EDUCATION.
