RE:WORK MISSION IS TO PROMOTE ECONOMIC EQUITY THROUGH A NON-TRADITIONAL EDUCATION PATH. WE PROVIDE THE TRAINING, PLACEMENT, AND SUPPORT TO CREATE LUCRATIVE CAREERS FOR MINORITIES FROM UNDERSERVED COMMUNITIES.

OUR APPROACH - BEGIN WITH EIGHT WEEKS OF TRAINING WITH A FOCUS ON SALES SKILLS AND THETECHNOLOGY INDUSTRY PLACE CANDIDATES WHO SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETE OUR TRAINING IN SALESROLES PROVIDE OPPORTUNITES FOR VALUE-ADDED PARTNERSHIPS THROUGH VOLUNTEERISM. OUREMPOWERMENT CURRICULUM - IN ORDER TO GIVE EACH CANDIDATE INDIVIDUAL ATTENTION, WELIMIT OUR COHORTS TO A MAXIMUM OF 35 CANDIDATES. OUR GOAL IS FOR OUR CANDIDATES TO EXCEED SALES AND COMPANY-WIDE EXPECTATIONS. TO EMPOWER CANDIDATES TO DO THIS, WETRAIN ON MINDSET, SALES PROCESS, BEST PRACTICES FOR COLD CALLING, EMAIL CADENCE, ANDBUSINESS ACUMEN. WE ALSO COVER TOOLS LIKE SALESFORCE, YESWARE, & VIDEO CONFERENCING. DURING 2020 WE HAD A 68% PLACEMENT RATE WITH AN AVERAGE SALARY OF 55,000. 98% OF OUR CANDIDATES ARE FROM OVERLOOKED COMMUNITIES, PREDOMINANTLY COMING FROM THE SOUTH AND WEST SIDES OF CHICAGO & BAY AREA. WE HAVE A FOUR-STEP SCREENING PROCESS, INCLUDING A PREDICTIVE FIT ASSESSMENT THAT IDENTIFIES INDIVIDUALS WITH TEAMWORK, POLISH, RIGOR, IMPACT,CURIOSITY, OWNERSHIP, AND GRIT. RE: WORK'S PROGRAM CONSISTS OF 5 COHORTS PER YEAR,EACH BEING 9 WEEKS WITH 12 CANDIDATES PER COHERT. IN 2020 WE HAD A PLACEMENTSUCCESS RATE OF 68%. ADDITIONALLY, IN 2020 WE WERE ABLE TO PLACE CANDIDATES IN A FULL-TIME JOB IN JUST 2 MONTHS.
