THE MIAC RECOGNIZES AND CELEBRATES THE IMPORTANT CONTRIBUTION COMPETITIVE ATHLETICS CAN MAKE TO THE QUALITY OF AN EDUCATION EXPERIENCED IN A CONTEXT IN WHICH THE ACADEMIC PROGRAM IS PARAMOUNT.
