LED BY MINNESOTA STATE UNIVERSITY STUDENTS, WE ARE THE INCLUSIVE VOICE FOR ALL FUTURE, CURRENT, AND FORMER STUDENTS. WE ACTIVELY WORK TO REPRESENT AND SUPPORT MINNESOTA STATE UNIVERSITY STUDENTS AND ADVOCATE AT A SYSTEM, LOCAL, STATE, AND FEDERAL LEVEL FOR HIGHER EDUCATION POLICIES THAT MAKE A POSITIVE IMPACT FOR OUR STUDENTS AND COMMUNITIES.

STUDENT ADVOCACY: STUDENTS UNITED PROVIDES INFORMATION TO STUDENTS ABOUT THE ISSUES THAT AFFECTS THEIR LIVES AS STUDENTS, PROVIDES STUDENTS OPPORTUNITIES TO PARTICIPATE IN ADVOCACY AT MANY LEVELS AND REPRESENTS STUDENT POSITIONS TO POLICY MAKERS. WE ADVOCATE AT A SYSTEM, STATE, AND FEDERAL LEVEL ON A WIDE VARIETY OF HIGHER EDUCATION ISSUES.
STUDENT PROGRAMMING: STUDENTS UNITED INFORMS, ORGANIZES AND REPRESENTS STUDENTS ON THE SEVEN MINNESOTA STATE UNIVERSITY CAMPUSES ABOUT ISSUES THEY CHOOSE SUCH AS CIVIC ENGAGMENT AND HIGHER EDUCATION AFFORDABILITY INCLUDING, TUITION, FEES AND TEXBOOKS, DIVERSITY AND INCLUSIVE EXCELLENCE AND STUDENT SUCCESS AND WELLNESS. STUDENTS WORK WITH THE MINNESOTA STATE COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES TO CREATE AND IMPLEMENT STUDENT-FOCUSED POLICIES AND PRACTICES. WE ALSO FOCUS ON STUDENT LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT WITH STUDENTS INVOLVED IN STUDENTS UNITED.
