IN 2022, THE HEART OF MINNESOTA ANIMAL SHELTER TOOK IN 575 STRAY AND SURRENDERED ANIMALS. WE PROVIDED EMERGENCY MEDICAL CARE FOR SERVERAL DOZEN INJURED ANIMALS AND REUNITED 15 LOST ANIMALS WITH THEIR FAMILIES. TO SUPPORT OUR PROGRAM ACTIVITIES WE HELD 10 FUNDRAISING EVENTS THAT RAISED OVER 80,000 FROM AREA ANIMAL LOVERS. ONGOING YEARLY PROJECTS INCLUDE OUR BIANNUAL SHELTER NEWSLETTER, SPAY-NEUTER PROGRAMS, AND GROUP-HOME ANIMAL VISITATION EFFORTS.
