TEMPORARY SHELTER FOR CATS AND DOGS.

IN 2021, THE HEART OF MINNESOTA ANIMAL SHELTER TOOK IN 450 STRAY AND SURRENDERED ANIMALS. WE WERE ABLE TO FIND HOMES FOR 414 ANIMALS, WHICH INCLUDED 11 ANIMALS THAT WERE REUNITED WITH THEIR FAMILIES. WE WORKED DILIGENTLY ON UPGRADING TWO BUILDINGS AND THE PARKING LOTS ON OUR NEW PROPERTY. DURING 2021, WE WERE ABLE TO HOLD OUR RUMMAGE SALE AND PAWS ON PARADE PET WALK FUNDRAISERS IN THESE NEWLY-UPDATED BUILDINGS ON OUR OWN PROPERTY. WE ALSO BEGAN OUR LONG-RANGE PLANNING AND FUNDRAISING FOR OUR CAPITAL CAMPAIGN TO BUILD A FACILITY ON OUR PROPERTY TO HOUSE THE DOGS.
