APPLIED HUMAN PRINCIPLES TO ANIMALS. FOSTERED AND DEVELOPED THE CARE AND HUMANE TREATMENT OF ANIMALS, OWNED PROPERTY FOR THE PURPOSE OF OPERATING AN ANIMAL SHELTER FOR THE CARE AND DISPOSAL OF ANIMALS, EDUCATED AND ASSISTED IN THE PROMOTION OF HUMANE CARE OF ANIMALS. HOMES WERE FOUND FOR 1,096 ANIMALS IN 2020. IN ADDITION, 113 LOST/IMPOUND ANIMALS WERE RETURNED TO THEIR OWNERS.
PROVIDED IMPOUND SERVICES TO MANKATO, NORTH MANKATO AND SURROUNDING COUNTIES. THIS WAS DONE AT NO COST TO THE ORGANIZATION.
PET FOOD WAS PROVIDED TO LOW INCOME FAMILIES AS OFTEN AS THE FOOD WAS AVAILABLE. FOOD USED FOR THIS PROGRAM WAS DONATED TO THE SHELTER.
