PROVIDE HOLIDAY MEALS (DELIVERED), SOCIAL OUTINGS, GROCERIES, AND CARE PACKAGES TO LOW-INCOME ELDERLY PLUS HANDICAPPED OVER THE AGE OF 50. SERVE 200 BUILDINGS IN 50 CITIES IN 8 COUNTIES OF SOUTHEASTERN WISCONSIN.

COMPLIMENTARY MEAL DELIVERY (EASTER-THANKSGIVING-CHRISTMAS) TO 3,000+ SENIOR CITIZENS ON EACH HOLIDAY (HOT READY-TO-EAT MEALS) WHO RESIDE IN LOW-INCOME HOUSING IN 50 CITIES OF S.E. WISCONSIN. BRIEF VISIT FROM A CARING VOLUNTEER! CARE PACKAGES ARE DELIVERED 1 - 4 TIMES/WEEK, ON A ROTATING BASIS AMONG THE SITES WE SERVE. EACH PERSON WHO RESIDES IN THE BUILDING GET A STANDARD BAG WITH TOILET PAPER, PAPER TOWELS, AND FACIAL TISSUE. THEN, SEVERAL OTHER ITEMS ARE ADDED, BASED ON WHAT IS AVAILABLE FROM DONATIONS AND BEING PURCHASED, SUCH AS BAR SOAP, RAGS, PUZZLE BOOKS, PENCILS, CHAPSTICK, AND OTHER HOUSEHOLD NEEDS. SOCIAL GATHERINGS INCLUDE THE BLUE LOTUS NATURE TRIPS IN THE SUMMER, AND ON-SITE EVENTS SUCH AS LIVE MUSIC AND BINGO. CARE PACAKGES ARE INCLUDED IN EVERY PARTY, AND MOST PARTIES ALSO HAVE A SNACK OR A MEAL.
