GROCERY STORE PROGRAM: AS A NONPROFIT GROCERY STORE, THE COMMUNITY FOOD CLUB EXISTS TO PROVIDE FOOD TO LOW-INCOME INDIVIDUALS AND MAKE HOUSEHOLDS MORE FOOD SECURE, FINANCIALLY SECURE AND HEALTHY. THE COMMUNITY FOOD CLUB SERVED 7,421 UNIQUE INDIVIDUALS IN THE FISCAL YEAR, PROVIDING OVER 930 THOUSAND POUNDS OF FOOD WORTH AN APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE OF $1.13 MILLION. BECAUSE OF THE FOOD CLUB, 36% OF ITS MEMBERS WERE MORE FOOD SECURE, 30% ARE MORE FINANCIALLY SECURE, AND 17% HAVE INCREASED THE HEALTH OF THEIR DIET.
