GOLDEN HOUSE HAS SERVED THE BROWN COUNTY COMMUNITY FOR OVER 30 YEARS. IN 2021, GOLDEN HOUSE PROVIDED EMERGENCY SHELTER TO MORE THAN 476 INDIVIDUALS, SERVED OVER 1,578 OUTREACH CLIENTS AND PROVIDED SUPPORT TO MORE THAN 6,767 INDIVIDUALS VIA OUR HOTLINE. GOLDEN HOUSE WORKS TO BRING PERSONAL, SOCIAL, AND INSTITUTIONAL CHANGE BY PROVIDING INFORMATION, REFERRALS, CASE MANAGEMENT, SUPPORT AND ADVOCACY. THE ORGANIZATION OFFERS A 24 HOUR EMERGENCY SHELTER, A 24 HOUR HELP-LINE, INDIVIDUAL CRISES COUNSELING, LEGAL AND PERSONAL ADVOCACY, SUPPORT GROUPS, EMERGENCY TRANSPORTATION TO SHELTER, TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANCE, EDUCATIONAL ARRANGEMENTS FOR SCHOOL-AGED CHILDREN, PREVENTION EDUCATION, AND A SPEAKER'S BUREAU.
