REHABILITATION SERVICES OFFERS A FLEXIBLE, RESPONSIVE, AND COMMUNITY-BASED PROGRAM FOR PEOPLE WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DELAYS WITH IDENTIFIED DEMENTIA AND/OR ALZHEIMER'S. THE PROGRAM ALSO SERVES ELDERLY WITHOUT DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES. THE DAY SERVICE PROGRAM OFFERS THE OPPORTUNITY TO GROW PHYSICALLY, INTELLECTUALLY, EMOTIONALLY, AND SOCIALLY. THROUGH ONGOING INTERACTION WITH THE KANDU STAFF AND THE COMMUNITY, CHOICES ARE PROVIDED TO ENABLE EACH INDIVIDUAL TO REALIZE THEIR POTENTIALS AND PERSONAL EXPECTATIONS IN LIFE.
COMMERCIAL OPERATIONS PROVIDE WORK EXPERIENCE TO INDIVIDUALS IN AN ENVIRONMENT WITH SUPERVISION AND SUPPORT. WORK EXPERIENCES ARE OBTAINED IN THE DEPARTMENTS TO INCLUDE PRODUCTION AND CATERING. JOB TRAINING IS PROVIDED, AS NEEDED, TO THE INDIVIDUALS TO ENSURE THEIR SUCCESS. INDIVIDUALS ARE PROVIDED MANY JOB ASSIGNMENTS TO ASSIST WITH DEVELOPMENT OF SKILLS AND ENCOURAGE FLEXIBILITY. THIS PROGRAM PREPARES INDIVIDUALS FOR COMMUNITY EMPLOYMENT.
