THE MISSION OF THE DOMINICAN LITERACY CENTER IS TO PROVIDE ONE-TO-ONE INDIVIDUALIZED ESL INSTRUCTION FOR IMMIGRANT WOMEN WHO WISH TO LEARN TO READ, WRITE AND SPEAK ENGLISH. OUR MISSION ALSO INCLUDES PREPARING IMMIGRANT WOMEN AND MEN WHO ARE STUDYING TO BECOME NEW CITIZENS BY PROVIDING CLASSROOM INSTRUCTION ON CIVICS, AMERICAN HISTORY AND GOVERNMENT.
