ENGLEWOOD COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION STRIVES TO NURTURE AND EMBODY LOVE OF NEIGHBOR IN THE AREAS OF AFFORDABLE HOUSING, ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, AND COMPREHENSIVE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ON THE NEAR EASTSIDE OF INDIANAPOLIS.

PROPERTY MANAGEMENT: ENGLEWOOD COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION MAINTAINS AND OPERATES 30 RENTAL PROPERTIES/CONTRACT SALE PROPERTIES. THESE PROPERTIES ARE RENTED TO NEIGHBORHOOD RESIDENTS AT BELOW MARKET RENTS. WE HAVE FOCUSED ON EX-OFFENDER AND FORMERLY HOMELESS INDIVIDUALS, WHILE ALSO TRYING TO MAINTAIN DIVERSITY OF RESIDENTS IN OUR PROPERTIES.
HOMEOWNER REPAIRS: USING GRANT FUNDS PROVIDED BY THE CITY OF INDIANAPOLIS, ENGLEWOOD COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION HAS MADE REPAIRS TO PROPERTIES OWNED BY QUALIFIED LOW-INCOME INDIVIDUALS.
PROPERTY DEVELOPMENT: ENGLEWOOD COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION HAS FOCUSED ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF VACANT AND OCCUPIED PROPERTIES WITHIN THE ENGLEWOOD NEIGHBORHOOD, BOTH FOR USE AS RENTAL AND HOMEOWNERSHIP.GRANT FUNDED CONSTRUCTION EXPENDITURES HAVE BEEN CAPITALIZED.
