THE MOST RECENT "WAYNE COUNTY ECONOMIC IMPACT THROUGH VISITOR SPENDING REPORT" (2021) SHOWED "TOURISM SPENDING BY VISITORS" GENERATED 145.1 MILLION, AN INCREASE OF +25.7% WHEN COMPARED TO THE 2020 ECONOMIC IMPACT THROUGH VISITOR SPENDING REPORT OF 115.4 MILLION. THE COMBINED WELCOME CENTER VISITORS, CONVENTION PARTICIPANTS AND GENERAL INQUIRIES TOTALED 54,514.
