THE PRINCIPAL EXEMPT PURPOSE FOR THE AASC, INC. CENTER IS TO PROVIDE NEEDED SERVICES INCLUDING MEALS AND TO SERVE AS A FOCAL POINT FOR SOCIAL ACTIVITIES FOR SENIOR CITIZENS. ON A REGULAR BASIS OUR CENTER PROVIDES A NUMBER OF SERVICES TO ALL RESIDENTS AGE 55 AND OVER IN THE COMMUNITY REGARDLESS OF INCOME BUT CONCENTRATING ON LOW-INCOME INDIVIDUALS TO PROVIDE MUCH NEEDED BASIC SERVICES. THESE SERVICES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO FLU INJECTION CLINIC, PNEUMONIA CLINICS, LEGAL AID, EYE SCREENING FOR CATARACTS AND GLAUCOMA, HEARING TEST, BI-WEEKLY BLODD PRESSURE READINGS, ETC. THE NUMBER OF CLIENTS SERVCED RANGE FROM 200 FOR INJECTIONS CLINICS TO 2 OR 5 PER MONTH FOR LEGAL AID, EYE AND HEARING CLINICS.
