WE ARE A NON-PROFIT SENIOR CENTER IN HARRISON COUNTY. WE PROVIDE TRANSPORTATION AND HOMEMAKING SERVICES, WE ALSO HAVE THE COMMODITY FOOD BOX PROGRAM, HEAP, AND WE ARE A INFORMATION AND REFERRAL SITE FOR HARRISON COUNTY. WE PROVIDE SERVICES TO 60+ CLIENTS.

OUR TRANSPORTATION SERVICES IS PROVIDED BY OUR TWO VANS. ONE VAN IS HANDICAPPED WITH A CHAIR LIFT. THAT CAN CARRY TWO WHEELCHAIRS AND 4 CLIENTS. OUR OTHER VAN IS A DODGE CARAVAN AND WE ARE ABLE TO TRANSPORT 6 CLIENTS. WE TRANSPORT OUR CLIENTS WITH A DONATION POLICY. WE ONLY ACCEPT A DONATION IF THEY CAN AFFORD TO DO SO. WE TAKE OUR CLIENTS TO THE GROCERY STORE, POST OFFICE, BANK, BEAUTY SALONS, TO THE SENIOR CENTER FOR ACTIVITIES, TRIPS, DOCTORS APPOINTMENTS, AND OTHER SOCIAL APPOINTMENTS. THE EXPENSES INCLUDE PAYROLL, GASOLINE, VAN REPAIRS, AND YEARLY VAN INSPECTIONS.
HOMEMAKING SERVICES IS A PROGRAM FOR 60+ CLIENTS THAT NEED HELP STAYING IN THEIR HOMES. WE PROVIDE CLEANING HOMES. WE ALSO RUN ERRANDS FOR THE CLIENT, LIKE GOING TO THE STORE, POST OFFICE, OR PHARMACY. WE PROVIDE THE SERVICE WITH ONLY ACCEPTING A DONATION AND NO COST TO THE ELDERLY. WE PAY OUR EMPLOYEES PAYROLL AND MILAGE.
HEAP IS A PROGRAM FROM THE AREA AGENCY ON AGING, REGION 9 THAT PROVIDES ASSISTANCE FOR LOW INCOME CLIENTS TO HELP PAY FOR HEATING AND COOLING EXPENSES.
