THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION: AFRICA NEW DAY EMPOWERS MEN, WOMEN AND CHILDREN TO BECOME LEADERS IN THEIR COMMUNITY, EQUIPPED TO TACKLE DR CONGO'S PROBLEMS AT THE SOURCE. Part 3 - Line 4a
CHURCH: CHAPEL UN JOUR NOUVEAU: THE ORGANIZATION FOUNDED A CHURCH IN GOMA, AND IT SERVES A SPIRITUAL NEED FOR SOUND CHRISTIAN TEACHING TO ADULTS AND APPROPRIATE TEACHING FOR CHILDREN IN A SUNDAY SCHOOL. THE CHURCH ALSO PROVIDED SPIRITUAL COUNSELING TO THOSE SEEKING SUCH ASSISTANCE.
CHILDREN/YOUTH: OUR CHILDREN ARE TOMORROW'S LEADERS AND OUR BEST HOPE FOR A BRIGHTER FUTURE. THIS IS ESPECIALLY MEANINGFUL IN CONGO, WHERE EDUCATION CAN LIGHT A PATH OF HOPE FOR LIVES CONCEIVED IN HOPELESSNESS. THE PRIMARY SCHOOL (PRE-K TO 8TH) TEACHES 21ST CENTURY LIFE AND LEADERSHIP SKILLS IN A CHRIST-CENTERED PROGRAM. CHILDREN ARE ALSO SPONSORED TO LOCAL SCHOOLS, PARTICIPATE IN AFTER SCHOOL TUTORING, AND BIBLICAL LEADERSHIP TRAINING.
SONS OF CONGO (MEN): THE WORK WITH MEN IS PRIMARILY THROUGH A BIBLICALLY BASED SMALL GROUP STUDY WHICH TEACHES MEN BIBLICAL PRINCIPLES OF MANHOOD, THEIR RESPONSIBILITY TO PROTECT AND PROVIDE FOR THEIR FAMILIES, BE MEN OF INTEGRITY, AND TO ACTIVELY INFLUENCE THEIR PEERS WITH WHAT THEY HAVE LEARNED. IT OPERATES IN DR CONGO UNDER THE NAME SONS OF CONGO.
